Kipchoge Running Ultras?

What do you think about this?

Kipchoge: I have never actually thought of trying to push the limits actually in less than a marathon, but I trust in the future that I will still push on maybe to 25 kilometers, 30 kilometers, and above all after leaving the marathon, I want to run the ultramarathons, just to feel how it is. Running for more than 4 or 5 days. Or even run at once for 70 kilometers. I really want to feel the pain of running for a long time.

He sure looked “comfortable” at the end of the Olympic Marathon…how would he do at the ultra distance?…/kipchoge-on-pain-limits…

Wouldn’t it be great? I would love to watch him running an ultra. Not too sure how he would be on a technical trail like UTMB, but I would really like to see him try. I presume he would excel at a predominantly asphalt 50km or even 70km and I expect he would be a great candidate to attempt Aleksandr Sorokin’s new 24hrs running record. @mk717 worked out that Sorokin ran a 3:20 marathon pace, I imagine this to be very do-able for Kipchoge.
